How to proceed:
- Submit a copy of Opencard application form or a printed confirmation of internet Opencard application (with registration number), which is not older than 14 days. (Opencard application has to be issued for a person in Child or Junior category. It has to contain an application for activation of DOS Transport Application that enables the purchase of an Opencard electronic fare.)
- Contact point staff will mark the application copy as a proof that a temporary card has been issued to you. Fill out your name, surname and date of birth on the reverse side of the temporary card. (The ticket is not valid if this information is missing. During transit inspections passengers are obliged to prove that this information is correct.) Temporary tickets have to be validated when used for the first time in the ticket validator!

Temporary ticket is valid for 30 days starting from the day when it was validated.
If you lose temporary ticket, no duplicate can be issued.
Where you can purchase a temporary ticket:>
- In Transit Company Info centres, in Muzeum, Anděl and Nádraží Holešovice metro stations or in the Prague City Hall building (Jungmannova 35/29, Prague 1 – Škodův Palace)
- At fare sale counters in metro stations Skalka, Zličín, Smíchovské nádraží, Anděl – Na Knížecí, Můstek B, Florenc, Vysočanská, Rajská zahrada, Roztyly, Letňany
- At Central Control (Na Bojišti 5, Prague 2).
After you receive Opencard:
Keep using the temporary ticket until it expires. For the following period use Opencard to purchase electronic fares. You can’t transfer an unused part of a paper transfer ticket fare to Opencard. Unused transfer ticket fares are non-refundable!
