Change in How Children between 6 and 10 Claim Free Fare!

Children between 6 and 10 will not have to claim they are entitled for free fare by Opencard as of 1st February 2012 as originally announced.

Children in this age group will therefore still be able to prove their entitlement to free fare by an ID verified by its issuer (legal entity) with the name, surname, date of birth and photograph of the child. This can be a PID card issued by the Transport Company or any other Czech transport operator as well as a sports club or amateur group card.

Children (6 – 10 years old), who are already using Opencard to prove they are entitled for Free fare can continue to do so until the application’s validity expires.

For more information about Prague Integrated Transport tariff, see the ROPID or DPP websites.
